A Dose of Humility

I was in the middle of putting words together again to impart life but then I was prompted to ask a sister what she would love me write about, her response was a bit imprecise but then she uttered humility uhmmm...

The first picture that crossed my mind was of Christ and his service to his disciples and entire humanity. But then I recalled I had a quick thought while setting out this morning.

The thought I had this morning was centered on the three levels of relationship you shouldn't trivialize.

Yes! If you really want to be successful as an Entrepreneur, a student, a CEO, a field worker and in your walk on the planet earth, you must be deliberate about building and maintaining these three kinds of relationship.

These relationships includes;

These relationships includes;
Relationship with-
Those Above you,
Those at your level and
Those below you...

Linking up my chat with the young lady , I will stress this article a little bit on your relationship with people below you and how humility comes into the picture.

The truth is that for the three levels of relationship I listed, humility is an essential pillar to building, maintaining and sustaining quality relationship with these groups.

However, it's more difficult for most people to build, maintain and sustain quality relationship with people below their level. That's why you see CEOs having challenges with their employees, leaders having issues with their followers, even an average man feels insecure relating with someone he believes doesn't measure up to his standard.

it's safe I make you realize that everyone have their place. No one is  useless!

 The gateman you refuse to relate with holds the key to the door that can make you loose an appointment if he refuses to open.

Everyone needs a dose of humility.

If people ever complained that you are proud, don't ignore them, so you don't loose your goodwill more... all you need is take a deliberate effort to cut down some egos...

However while listening to people's opinion of you, it's important I remind you of some words from John L Mason ... He says  and I rephrase _"There are two quick ways to disaster; taking to all advices and taking to none"_
  I really believeyou understand...

So quickly,
Quick ways to express humility...

• Place value on people and express that value- it could be with kind words, rendering assistance or even giving a gift.

• Listen to other's point of view even though you need to be sure they are right

• Never shout at others while they express themselves

• Never shut others up while they express themselves... a bit different from the previous point

• Always remember you can be wrong

• Say sorry when you are wrong

• Don't try to cover up your mistakes

This list can go on and on...
My piece today is a sort of quick cook up that might not address some parts but I hope to do justice to them in my subsequent post🙏🏿.
