Blank are the pages we glance through,
Pilot of pains we go through.
Strength of the shame we see too,
Caused by the game at the 'tion poll.

Now the purses go dry

I hear  the thumbs cry WHY
have we pressed with faith so high?
For the ones who care not if we live or  die dry.

Months ago they waved hands in the street with smiles
Greatest Nigerians! They shook hands with our chiefs with some cash
 Little did we know, we have been sold out for a price.
By the ones who rule our lands....
